I lived in Hazard in the 1940's and would like to hear from old friends. I was 8-years-old when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. We lived on Lyttle Blvd, then but moved to Cedar Street where we lived until 1948.

After having read about Minnie Bates and Doyle Yancy, I tried to leave a message that stated that Naomi Judd did not have her facts straight. They were my neighbors and good ones , with their three children. They did not live in a cabin, but In a house in Groundhog Hollow. He did not leave her, as stated, but they all left together and moved to the Dayton area where they had the fourth child. Doyle is a good friend of mine and Naomi should get her ducks in a row before writilng such lies.
