Salina Gibson contributed a photo of David Y. Combs and his wife Mary Polly Davidson to the Combs &c. Families Photo Gallery. This is my great great grandfather, which makes Salina my 3rd cousin - once removed (?). I was wondering if she had a photo of her great great grandmother's (Peggy Miller) brother John A. My mother was just telling me this weekend that the World's Tallest Man had come to Perry County & when he did that he had stayed at Harriet Holliday's house (widow of Elisha Holliday) for a few days so I was surprised just now when I looked on this site & there was a whole page devoted to Tallest Man. Can anyone confirm this?

Previous post indicates Louise Combs is a resident at Hazard Nursing Home. Does any one know if she is still there? May be my first cousin that I have not seen in over 60 years. If she is my cousin her father would have been Frank Combs - Grandmother and Grandfather would have been Goodloe and Nellie Combs.
