Yes, I went to the Lothair school in the '50s. I can remember when the playground was nothing but mud. Then they got the bright idea to blacktop it. That was better, but it sure hurt if you fell.

Don't know if anyone remembers Cleve & Nelle Combs from Happy, Ky. They raised a bunch of kids and my husband was one of them. Cleve, Jr. Brother to Buck, Arlie, and Alfred Lee Combs. Just wanted to tell those that knew him that he passed away last year. He loved his friends that he grew up with and of course his family. We had not been there for a long time but I know how much he cared.

i remember growing up and could not wait to get outta hazard but i tell you now that i am i wish i would have stayed there i moved to chicago about 3 years ago i guess i miss the mountain everyday i miss walking outta the house and seeing mountains now i walk out side and see houses no mountains just rude people but the mountain are the mountains and i miss them
