Opened in 1967.  Was first home to Baker Buick Company and later Hazard Supply Company. Still open today. 


Hammond's Super Shell

Hammond's Super Shell - East Main
Closed in the early 1990s, building razed and replaced by a new Shell Station.
 

Bell's Market

Bell's Market - Lovern Street
Closed in 1998. First opened in another location in 1945 by Francis Bell.

Opened circa 1953. Closed late 1970s.  Owned and operated by George Kawaja.


Comb's Dairy Bar

A dairy bar occupied this spot since the 1950s until sometime in the 1980s.  Today it is a Tattoo parlor

Papania's Jewerly

Papania's Jewerly - Main Street
Opened in 1920s.  Still in operation.


Coca-Cola Bottling Plant

Hazard Coca-Cola Company - East Main
Building (near Woodland Motel) was originally the Hazard Motor Company. Razed in the late '70s



Home Office Supply

Home Office Supply - Main Street
Was originally Ideal Furniture Company that opened in 1918.  Now closed. Storefront now occupied by a woodworking shop.

With the loss if Lasslo's Jewerly in 2000, WKIC and Papania's are now the oldest continious businesses on Main Street. Engle Funeral Home is Hazard's oldest business (since 1907). They are not, however, on Main Street (East Main).
