Fouth grade class at Lothair Grade School, 1953-54. Mrs. Hall was the class teacher. The "get out the vote" campaign concerned a referendum to support more funds for schools.  The Lothair Grade school building can be seen in the background

Class members include Donnie Collins, (6th from left, first row), who became a principal in the Perry County School System, and Mike Flannery (3d from left, 1st row), retired Army Colonel, Vietnam veteran and now Director of Security for the US Agency for International Development, Washington D.C.
